Bad Medicine–

I saw a thing on tv last night.  Kids who won't take their medicine now
can have it in the form of candy.  The druggist mixes it all up into
gummy bears or lollipops, and the kids just eat it up.  The tv guy
interviews the kid.  "How did it taste?"  (He's talking about the
medicine before it was turned into candy) "It tasted icky," the kid
says.  Well, heaven forbid that a kid should ever taste anything icky.

So once again I was born too soon.  In my childhood, if it didn't taste
icky, parents didn't believe in it.

So I'm wondering, what was the worst tasting thing they ever made you
eat/take/swallow?  Had to do it.  Remember that wonderful medicine Tom
Sawyer's Aunt Polly forced him to take?  And he gave it to the cat?  And
she yelled at him for being cruel to the cat?

Maybe there's even a story hiding here.
