  • Paramount Plastics will establish and maintain documented procedures for handling, storage, packaging, preservation and delivery of product.
  • 4.15.2 Handling

  • Paramount Plastics has procedures for handling the product to prevent damage or deterioration. These methods include such things as cooling fixtures and gloves.

Since each product handling is job specific, see the appropriate Work Instruction for the job.

General handling procedures can be found in the Production Manual in the Material Handlers Responsibilities.

  • 4.15.3 Storage

  • Paramount Plastics provides conditions that ensure the product will not be damaged or deteriorated. These conditions include being stored at ambient temperature, shielded from sunlight, and protection from the elements.

Products that have been inventoried for a year will have their condition re-assessed by the quality control department.

  • 4.15.4 Packaging

  • Paramount Plastics labels and packages all products to the extent necessary to conform to all product requirements.

Product labeling and packaging requirements may vary from job to job. For specific requirements for labeling and packaging, see the appropriate Work Instruction.

For general labeling and packaging requirements see the Press Operator Responsibilities in the Production Manual.

  • 4.15.5 Preservation

  • All finished products are stored indoors and in conditions that will not deteriorate the quality of the product in any way.

Finished product is stored in designated areas and controlled by the warehouse foreman.

  • 4.15.6 Delivery
