Street Maintenance Program
Since 1990 the Service Department has conducted annual street condition inspections each spring. All data was then entered into the Pavement Management system at Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA). Reports on street conditions and budget estimates for maintenance were generated using NOACA's PMS software. In December of 2000 the Service Department purchased Pavement View Plus Software by Cartegraph and is currently in the process of preparing the database for this years spring inventory of street conditions. Once fully functional this software will assist the city with future road program budgets and the planned maintenance of all City roads. |
