Hurricane (?) Hemi

Well I really doubt there’d ever be a hurricane in Central Ohio, but it was the only alliteration I could come up with at the time. This is the new Dad’s truck - 2003 Dodge Hemi. I put the essentials into the truck, but not quite as elaborately.

I run a ham dual-band mobile, a couple fire scanners, and necessary siren and light controls for my volunteer fire duties. I also have a PC connected to the Boltek lightning detector. It relies on GPS information from my Garmin V for directional data. I have a second Garmin connected to the PC for mapping and travel directions.  Observations are made using a Davis Weather Wizard III system, mounted by magnets on the roof. The Boltek antenna is also magnet mounted, and seems to be working fine.

Overall, gas mileage isn’t bad, and I love the truck in general. It creates a solid platform for storm chasing.
