  • The goal of Camp Quality is to provide a week away from hospitals and treatments for children who have been diagnosed with cancer.
  • Ages 5-17 may apply. There is no charge to the family.
  • Camp is held each August at Camp Manitoqua in Frankfort, Illinois
  • Each child is in the care of a companion. This one-on-one relationship provides excellent care and the opportunity to form lasting friendships.
  • Camp operation depends on the generosity of many individuals, organizations and businesses.
  • Many times when children are diagnosed with cancer, they become isolated from friends and normal children's activities while under treatment. Their appearance may change. They battle the pain. As a result, they lose a part of their childhood. Camp Quality attempts to provide a break from the disease in surroundings where everyone is similiar circumstances. The camp strives, as much as is possible, to provide a week of normalcy. Friendships are formed that often continue long after camp ends. Memories are made which sustain through ongoing medical procedures.
  • Camp is definitely not a cure. Camp offers a support system for coping with cancer.
  • Please consider joining the Camp Quality family.
