We consider continuing education for our doctors and staff very important. In the State of Ohio, Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians are required to attend a number of hours of continuing education to maintain their professional licenses. At MetroPet we pride ourselves in attending more classes and seminars than required in order to stay at the leading edge of veterinary medicine.
Here are some examples of continuing education our staff has completed:
- Advanced Ultrasound Program, Ohio State University
- American Association of Feline Practitioners Annual Conference. Numerous
topics on feline medicine.
- MidWest Veterinary Conference in Columbus. Among the topics presented
were Diseases of the Ear in Dogs and Cats.
- Pet Dental Disease, Laboratory Diagnostics presented by the Cleveland
Academy of Veterinary Medicine.
- Use of In-hospital Laboratory Equipment. MetroPet's complete in-hospital
diagnostic laboratory equipment was rated "the best available" by the seminar
expert.
- Seminars on Puppy Training, Animal Behavior, and Hospital Management.
- Kidney Disease, Diagnosis and Treatment.
- Laser Surgery Seminar and Hands-on Lab.
- Gastrointestinal, Liver, and Pancreas Disorders.
We take our profession and the health animals seriously. You can trust your pet's care to us.
