The Cab Ride of Death:

We (Laura, Susan, and I) finally meet up at the ariport & pay for a cab to the hotel.  We've no idea how far it is - only that it cost us $42.00
We step out from the cab stands and see row upon row of sub-compact cars - and we've got luggage aplenty aside from out 3 bodies to deal with.
We finally get a cab - a 2 door wagon (??) and pile all of it & all of us in there and proceed what would become the best "E" ticket ride I've ever had.  I thought I was going to need a depends.
Those  of you that know me well will know that for me to say that I was frightened of someone's driving is saying quite a bit.  I was petrified.
We were averaging about 120 km/hr and people were zipping all over like we were on Lower Wacker in Chicago.  Motorcycles were dodging busses that were dodging cars that were going way too fast while merging... and on  & on.  As I sit here typing I can hear the mayhem continue on the streets below.  But oddly enough all of the cars seem to be mostly undamaged.
We got to the hotel & I needed a half hour just to calm down from the ride in........
