That being said -
I'll work on this as time permits - but for this event I'm with:
Laura Cioffi
-
invisible to service staff in restaurants
-
has champagne tastes on Guarana budget
-
recent (but fervent) convert to the benefits of Tiramisu and Leibfraumilch
(but not combined)
Susan Hayden
-
can speak in almost any language with her hands & strategically places
"o"s and "el"s
"Cost-o"? "El Check-o, por favor"
-
or just speak to them in English as if they know what the hell you are
saying
-
actually - Susan is quite good at translation & important phrases and
really could care less if she is understood or not
-
can chronicle any event with frightening detail - particularly if you've
fucked something up (but I mean that in a good way)
-
cheap date (one beer & buzzed)
-
can turn a ten dollar project into sixty or seventy
-
has little tolerance for "International Incidents" and therefore keeps
a tight reign on my behavior
-
will tell you way more than you want to know about "slave necklaces" -
just ask her!
and special Guest from
the Brazilian Office -
Andrea Bakotic
-
this show is Andrea's - we're just here as grunts....
-
I don't really know Andrea well enough yet to make many comments comfortably,
but...
-
Andrea can get pretty excited while talking - and will tend to try to maintain
eye contact (even if you're behind her).... therefore she appears to have
a tendency to bang into large, mostly immovable objects (like trees &
concrete pillars)
-
fortunately, (for her), Andrea appears to bounce quite well.....
-
at one time Andrea lived here in Brazil & leaned quite passable Portuguese....
unfortunately, she cannot spend every waking moment with us on our travels
- and if she did this little journal would most likely be really
boring...........
