Over 850 photographs!!! Just flip through this book, and you have instant inspiration. Who better to give advise than the master of bodybuilding himself? Arnold Schwarzenegger. Some people disagree with his ideas, but this book also has information about contests, diet, and posing.

The title says it all. MORE MUSCLE. This book has a good approach to putting on muscle and you can expect to make a lot of gains while using the philosophy of Ken Sprague. I hear nothing but good reviews about this book.

Serious Strength Training

Built Hard

Want proof? Here it is. Everything in this book is backed by scientific studies and research. The author lists the best exercises for each bodypart, and how to recruit the most muscle fibers. It also has some good nutritional information.

Built Hard is loaded with down-to-earth techniques. It has programs for lifters in beginner, intermediate, and expert stages, lots of training tips, competition information. I wish I had this book when I first started lifting.

Power : A Scientific Approach

Reps! : The World's Hottest Bodybuilding Routines

Dr. Squat is a very experienced and knowledgeable lifter who has put his ideas on paper. This book takes a powerlifting approach, giving the pros and cons, as well as how to and why you should be doing certain things, and not be doing others.

This book has every routine imaginable. All types of routines. You name it, this book has it. All of them are proven, and you can be confident that each one will help you in a different way. This is a good way to broaden your lifting horizons.

Ultra-Ripped Abs

Lou Ferrigno's Guide to Personal Power, Bodybuilding, and Fitness

You want a six-pack? Look no further. Robert Kennedy knows what he is doing. This is an excellent book. It has lots of routines and exercises, and after reading this book, you will be ready to have rock-hard abs.

Lou Ferrigno, the "Incredible Hulk" advises you on how to reach your peak in strength and size. He tells you how to train each part of your body to perfection. I recommend this book to all expert bodybuilders.

Arnold's Bodybuilding for Men

Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding

If you are a beginner, this is a must have. The basic fundamentals of bodybuilding are laid out for you. In this book Arnold stresses results rather than push his own philosophy, unlike many other books on the subject.

This book has it all. It is truly an encyclopedia. Everything is covered: history of the sport, profiles, training, routines, nutrition. This book is of much help to any bodybuilder beginner to expert, male or female.
