| Event times listed are for Tuesdays - Saturdays during exhibition seasons. Hours for Sunday and Monday are negotiable (Gallery has no public hours) but are subject to staff availability and additional staff fee. The above times are when your guests will actually be in the facility. All rental rates begin at 6pm. You are welcome to have your guests arrive later, but in order to have the facility open, you will be charged from 6pm until the time your guests leave.If you wish to begin your event earlier than 6pm, this is subject to availability and rates will be assessed accordingly. Rates include 2 hours Set-Up Time (i.e 4pm access for caterer) and 1 hour Clean-Up Time. Caterer and all staff must be off the premises 1 hour after the scheduled event (e.g. by midnight for a 5 hour event) or renter is subject to overtime charges. Gallery 312 is in a residential building and therefore cannot host events running later than 11pm, (though we may be able to make a special request to run until midnight on a Saturday with 6 months advance booking). Events longer than 5 hours may only be held on Sunday or Monday unless a special exception is requested 6 months in advance. Non-profit organizations receive10% off rental fee with presentation of IRS letter. Gallery 312 is also available to host daytime meetings. Contact us for date availability and rates (312.942.2500). DEPOSITS and PAYMENTS:A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the Rental Fee is required when the Event Agreement and Terms and Conditions are signed to reserve the date for the event. The balance of the Fee and a $500 Security Deposit are due 7 days before the event in the form of cash, money order or cashier's check. (Personal checks must be received 14 days before event.)
OVERTIME FEES:Renter will be charged $200 per 30 minutes, or fraction of, over scheduled end time if guests or caterers are still on premises. If materials are not retrieved from the gallery by the next business day after the scheduled end time of the event, a storage fee may be charged at the rate of $75/day. These additional fees can only be assessed after the event and will be deducted from the security deposit.
NOTES:Rates quoted are for rental of G312's space only and do not include costs of services beyond access to the gallery premises and a staff space monitor. All organizations or persons renting G312 must comply with terms and conditions set forth in a signed agreement (sample agreement available upon request).
