What the critics are saying about Being Anna's Boots:

Playwright and screenwriter Neal S. Reynolds takes a rare turn from his intense dramas in this outrageously funny and surrealistic comedy about the first rehearsal for a serious new play at a major metropolitan professional theatre.

When, after a break, the director's prized possession turns up missing, try as she might she just can't put it out of her mind -- and before long she is grilling the actors like a detective investigating a murder. Just as things appear in danger of degenerating into pure farce, yet another dramatic twist happens leading to the play's heartwarming conclusion.

And did I mention the story is told from the point of view of the director's overly-protective, theatre-loving boots, whose running commentary only the audience can hear?

Actors especially will love all the inside jokes. Yet most of the humor is sufficiently universal that even non-theatre-devotees will frequently find themselves laughing out loud. Don't miss Being Anna's Boots!
