The twelve editions focus on Palatine, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Rolling Meadows, Hoffman Estates, Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove Village, Lake Zurich, Barrington, Algonquin, Wheeling, and Cary-Grove. They are distributed in a total of thirty suburbs, with a total paid circulation of nearly fifty thousand!
The newspaper is available on most newstands, in most 7-11 and White Hen convenience stores, as well as at many gas stations and Osco drug stores. (For instance, the two gas stations at the corner of Palatine and Plum Grove roads, as well as the Jewel-Osco, carry the Palatine Countryside.) It is also available by subscription.
To find other specific locations near where you live or work that carry the newspaper, go to the following page within the Pioneer Press web site:

Select whatever northwest suburban edition is most convenient and it will give you quite a number of places in that suburb that carry the newspaper. For instance, selecting "Palatine Countryside" gives about 35 locations.
The cover price is one dollar. And subscriptions are even more cost-effective, at about $19.95 a year. And since it's delivered by mail anyone can subscribe! You don't have to live in the suburb you wish to subscribe to. (Although, depending on how far away you live, you may have to pay an extra fifty-eight cents a week for postage since they have to pay the post office more.)
Given all of their coverage of the local theatre scene, anyone who sees, performs in, or is otherwise involved in shows at Cutting Hall (or other local theaters, such as the Prairie Center of the Arts in Schaumburg) should consider subscribing to the paper, regardless of where they live.
To subscribe, call (847) 486-9300 Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, or go to:
