You Say You Believe
You say you believe in Eternal Life,
but how can that be when you deny the right
of the pre-born to live and to love and to serve
and deny God's right to love in return?
You say you believe that life doesn't exist
in the form of the pre-born and that you'll resist
the presence of God in what's rightfully His.
How will you answer to God about this?
You say you believe in a right to choose,
that no one gets hurt, that no one will lose.
Do you think God's not hurt when His children are killed,
their tiny lives ended, their beating hearts stilled?
You say you believe that they feel no pain
when they're tossed in trash can for some doctors gain.
How cold can your heart be to think God accepts this
as an act that is right, that it follows Gods wish?
It's nobody's business, you say that's your belief.
But in God's plan his children should come to no grief.
Do you really believe that this law made by man
is now more important than the law of God's plan?
You say that it's your choice, that God has no role
in this free will decision that blackens your soul.
Then look to your conscience and how you'll defend
your soul and your actions to God in the end.
