Griffith Middle School Cheerleaders -
Horizon Cheer Challenge, March 7, 2004.
The most recent competition, was held at Valparaiso University on March 7, 2004, the Horizon Cheer
Challenge. This competition involved several divisions including Middle School, JV, Varsity, and the
All-Star teams. The girls came away with another first place in the Middle School Division. They were
also entered into a Stunt Combo Competition and took first place for that division.
The most impressive feat of the day, however, was coming away with the Grand Champion trophy.
The girls scored 271 points out of a possible 300 points for the day. This was the highest point total
of all the squads in attendance: All-Stars, Varsity squads, JV squad. The Griffith squad beat them all!
