Jenny G!

Everyone's favorite "adopted" daughter!

We have had so many Club Dance fans tell us that Jenny reminds them of their daugher or their granddaughter. Or they say that she is the perfect image of an "All American Girl"! They were right, she is a wonderful and very likeable girl. Jenny is a very talented singer as well as a terrific dancer. We asked Jenny to write a little about what has been going on in her life since the end of Club Dance. The following is what she wrote.

Hi! It's been a long time - Amazing how it flies by! Just wanted to drop a quick update, but I'm having trouble figuring out where to even begin!

A few major changes - Christina married John - Glenn married Lauren and Paul married Shelly - . I think their wedding pictures are floating around here somewhere. What's with all this marriage stuff anyway?

Partly because of all this "couple-ing up" I had trouble finding people to dance with for awhile. Every once in a while I would run into Jason A. He's a lot of fun to dance with, or Mike K. but for the most part everyone is staying home and doing the relationship thing. What a bummer (Not for them, just for me - I was feeling a little selfish there!)

Luckily I found a new dance partner, Derek. Kelly C. introduced me to him. His background is in ballroom, but he has a good lead anyway! Actually, he's really incredible. He does an awesome swing, hustle, and he's teaching me the mambo, salsa and all kinds of really fun stuff. We've been teaching together one night a week, and will hopefully be doing some workshops soon, and doing a little bit of traveling. Sounds like fun, doesn't it!

My job is going pretty well (unless you consider my paycheck!) A couple of months ago, I was able to start doing some work in the Nashville area. The perfect opportunity to pursue the music thing while I'm not working. Actually this past week was very helpful. I discovered that the best way to meet people is to go where they are . . . ALONE. I finally got up the nerve to go out on the town by muself. Went to the Bluebird Cafe. I met a writer/artist from Texas, a guy from New Zealand, and a couple of the showcase artists that evening. I think it was a very productive and enjoyable evening - after I got over being nervous! I guess it's good to strech outside of our comfort zones sometimes. While we're on the subject, I'm still enjoying my voice lessons, and am venturing into some live performances. I'm finding that I really do enjoy it after I get over the stage fright.

In other news - my oldest brother got married in May. They're doing well - he's opening a gymnastics training center, and she's doing her teaching internship. My middle brother is driving now. ( How did he get that old?) My youngest brother is in Junior high school. He can play golf like you wouldn't believe.

I saw Scotty G. recently. We danced for about an hour before he had to hit the road on the way to Ohio to play with his band. They are apparrently doing very well. Getting some radio airplay, and staying booked up. I miss him though.

Danced with Kelvin M. a couple weeks ago when I was in Chattanooga for work. He's doing well. Still rodeoing and dancing, and dancing, and dancing. You should see his west coast swing! I had an incredible time dancing with him.

The horses are doing well. Whisper (the baby) is a yearling now, and still full of mischief.

I hope everyone out there is doing well. I miss seeing everyone, and getting together on Club Dance. Maybe we can have a reunion sometime. That would be great.
