These are two pictures taken of the two of them right before the wedding ceremony in Hawaii.
Below is a little article that Marlene wrote up to share with everyone about their wedding and their life together..
We arrived in Hawaii on Tuesday at 5PM. Randy had forgotten his shirt and vest at home, so Wednesday we headed out early in search of something comparable and just like everthing else about our trip, it worked out perfectly. We found an even BETTER ensemble than the one he left at home. We then headed out to get our marriage license.
Thursday we got up early and relaxed by the pool. I was a NERVOUS WRECK! The hotel flower shop made my arrangement. It was beautiful! All Hawiian flowers in all the vibrant colors. Around 4:00 PM Randy dressed and I packed my dress and we headed toward Molakena.
When we arrived I got dressed and met Randy in the garden for pictures. He was speechless! He had seen my dress on the hanger and had no idea (like most men) what it looked like ON! He presented me with a tennis bracelet during the picture session. We drove on down to the beach for the ceremony.
Probably the BEST part of the ceremony was when it began to rain. YES.....RAIN! Randy and I had discussed the fact that if it would only rain we would be overjoyed. With both of our mothers being gone, we always loved that song "Holes in the floor of Heaven". So when it started sprinkling, we knew they were watching us. There was a perfect suset and it was the most beautiful setting and wedding that we could have wished for.
We spent our honeymoon exploring, snorkeling, hiking in the volcano crater, eating, luau's and lots of shopping!
When we got home we had a reception with about 125 in attendence with a big buffet and a DJ and lots of dancing!!
Now we are just getting used to being married and I'm loving every minute of being Randy's wife!!!
