1.    Thorsgard guarantees that this cat is in good health.  This cat has been immunized against Feline Infectious Enteritis, Feline Rhinotracheitis and Calici Virus.  This cat has no fleas, ear mites or other external parasites.  This cat is FeLV and FIV Negative.

2.    Thorsgard's Health Warranty extends for three working days from the date of this contract and Thorsgard strongly suggests to have this cat examined by your veterinarian within that time.  If, within the guarantee period, the cat is show to be sick by a Licensed Veterinarian, the Purchaser agrees to either:          

  1. Return the cat to Thorsgard, to be returned to purchaser when health is restored or, at the Purchaser's request, Thorsgard will provide a full refund of the purchase price less any cost incurred to return the cat.
  2. Purchaser will present to Thorsgard a Veterinarian's bill for reimbursement. Thorsgard's maximum liability shall be no greater that the purchase price.
  3. Purchaser's request for reimbursement MUST be accompanied by a Veterinarian's receipt and records confirming that the illness was contracted by the cat prior to purchase.
  4. Payment of Veterinarian's service up to Thorsgard's maximum liability will be made only upon receipt of an itemized statement.  Thorsgard will not honor any claims after the guarantee period except as stated in item 3 below.

3.    Should this cat develop any hereditary illness or defect within the first year of ownership, Thorsgard will replace the cat, with any travel expenses at purchaser's expense, provided the following provisions are met:

  1. The cat was treated by a Licensed Veterinarian and Thorsgard was contracted.
  2. Purchaser presents a statement from the Veterinarian verifying diagnosis of the illness or defect with a postmortem report showing a hereditary illness or defect as the cause of death.
  3. Purchaser returns the cat to Thorsgard, if it is living, with transportation costs to be paid by the purchaser.

4.    Pet Quality cats will receive their registration papers after full payment has been made and when proof of spay or neuter documentation is received from a Licensed Veterinarian.

5.    If the Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) vaccination is given to this cat, all guarantees are null and void.
